Pre-Professional Membership
NATS is dedicated to the development of lifelong learning beginning at the student level. Pre-Professional members are students training to be teachers of singing, singers, collaborative pianists, or other voice professionals. Pre-Professional members have digital access to the Journal of Singing, but may only vote or hold office in SNATS Chapters. They may not be listed in the Find-A-Teacher database, enter other students into the National Student Auditions (NSA), or adjudicate. Pre-Professional members may participate in student auditions themselves provided their voice teacher is a member of NATS.
Qualifications
Enrolled in a secondary, undergraduate, or graduate school.
Must be a new member. You may not move from any other membership level to Pre-Professional.

Pre-Professional Member ($25.00). Credit card payment is required.
Student NATS (SNATS) Chapters
In addition to being involved with a local NATS chapter, Pre-Professional NATS members also may affiliate with a local Student NATS (SNATS) chapter, a student organization that can hold meetings, workshops, and discussion groups to learn more about all aspects of singing. Colleges, universities, conservatories and independent teacher studios may form SNATS chapters. Learn more about our Student NATS (SNATS) Chapters.
