Canadian Voice Pedagogy Award
The National Association of Teachers of Singing awards up to a $1,000 gift annually to a Canadian candidate for the purpose of study at a seminar, symposium, or workshop on voice pedagogy and/or voice science. All NATS national and regional events, PAVA, The Voice Foundation, and ICVT symposia are acceptable. Candidates must submit a request for funds with an explanation of how the funds will be used to further their voice teaching activities to the NATS Ontario Canadian Voice Pedagogy Award Committee no later than March 1st of the year in which the voice seminar will take place. A committee from NATS will select the winning candidates. The Committee will pay the award directly to the workshop involved, with any monies in excess of workshop fees designated as travel and living expenses to be paid directly to the candidate.
