In this two-hour Livestream on YouTube & Facebook (Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 10am-12 noon Pacific Time), Lisa Popeil, MFA in Voice will share some insights about the roots and sounds of five commercial (CCM) vocal styles including Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, and Country. Style characteristics
will be described and demonstrated: resonator shapes, airflow, resonance (ring, brightness, nasality), pharynx widths, larynx heights, and dialects.
