Job Description / Duties

Samford University invites bass, baritone, or tenor applicants for a full-time, tenure-track appointment to teach applied voice in the Division of Music, School of the Arts. There will be additional teaching assignments according to the school’s needs and the candidate’s strengths.

Qualifications / Required Skills

An earned doctorate in music with demonstrated success in university teaching and a concentration in vocal pedagogy, vocal literature, or diction, is preferred. Experience both in teaching and performance is essential. The candidate must be supportive of the university’s Christian mission.
