Job Description / Duties
The Voice Instructor’s teaching load, which will be matched as much as possible to the successful candidate’s background and experience, will consist primarily of private voice instruction but may over time include ensemble or group instruction in areas ranging from contemporary music and jazz to musical theatre.
This position is full-time for the ten-month term beginning September, 2014. Remuneration for this position is on a competitive hourly fee-for-student/class basis. As a full-time position, it also comes with an attractive benefits package, consisting of extended health and dental coverage as well as group life and long term disability insurance.
Qualifications / Required Skills
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred
• Candidates with strong teaching experience, especially of students aged 5-18, are especially encouraged to apply
