Job Description / Duties

The School of Music at Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, benefits eligible, nine-month Lecturer in Music/Director of Opera Theater. The applicant should be an energetic, collegial, and a committed individual who is dedicated to the success and growth of the School of Music Opera Theater program. The position is responsible for an undergraduate program that consists of staged opera, scenes, and workshops. Additional duties, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate, may include studio vocal instruction, vocal coaching, and teaching opera history.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Master of Music or equivalent professional experience is required. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in college teaching or professional experience in producing opera theater.
