Job Description / Duties

Position Summary:
The University of Colorado Boulder College of Music seeks an accomplished Bass or Baritone for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position as an Assistant or an Associate Professor of Voice starting August 21, 2017.

Key Responsibilities:
Instructional duties include applied lessons for undergraduate and graduate voice majors and related courses in either opera or pedagogy. The successful candidate will maintain an active national/international performing and/or scholarly career; serve on graduate committees; advise students in curricular matters and career development opportunities; and participate in College, University, and professional service activities, including student recruitment.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Required Qualifications:
1. A significant record of professional performances.
2. Either an earned doctorate in music or a master’s degree in music coupled with a commensurate record of professional achievement.
3. Significant teaching experience at the college level.
4. Maintenance of an active performing and/or scholarly career.
