Job Description / Duties

a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor of Voice. Duties include teaching major and minor voice lessons; courses in English, Italian, French and German diction; coordinating the Voice area including adjunct faculty and accompanists; student recruitment and establishing and maintaining relationships with high school and community college music programs throughout the state and region.
Other responsibilities may include teaching opera workshop, voice class, vocal literature and/or pedagogy, other courses within the department, and student advisement. The selected candidate will work closely with the Coordinator of the Choral Program, participate in auditions and department and university service, as well as maintain an active professional life

Qualifications / Required Skills

A Doctorate degree or equivalent professional experience in voice is required as are outstanding credentials as a professional singer and appropriate piano skills. College teaching experience is preferred
