What's New > NATS Executive Office welcomes new staff members
JACKSONVILLE, Florida - The National Association of Teachers of Singing has added two new staff members in recent months - Margie Patterson as the bookkeeper/executive assistant and Megan Blackburn as its administrative assistant.
Patterson joined the NATS staff in July, while Blackburn joined the national office staff this week. Each will work full time for the association at its national office in Jacksonville, Florida.
"We are very fortunate to have added two very talented and decicated ladies to our staff at the national office," NATS Executive Director Allen Henderson said. "We believe that they will bring unique skill sets and experience to our operation and help us be as efficient as we can possibly be in serving our members each day."
Patterson has more than 20 years of experience in office management, accounting and human resources. Before joining NATS, she assisted the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus with recordkeeping duties. Prior to that, she was office manager for KIRA, Inc., serving the US Navy at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station.
Blackburn has an extensive background in administrative support and is currently working towards obtaining her degree in business administration.
